Richard Martini serves as Chief Operating Officer for The Fallon Company and is responsible for the oversight of all project development for the firm. He is a registered architect with expertise in mixed-use project with complex design and site issues, as well as budget and coordination challenges that require deep experience and finesse in balancing the diverse needs of project participants and stakeholders.
Prior to joining The Fallon Company, Mr. Martini formerly served as Senior Vice President of Design and Construction, for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide where he directed more than $6B in development and construction projects throughout the US and Canada.
Mr. Martini has received several awards over his career and was responsible for winning two international development competitions for Starwood properties. He is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the American Institutes of Architects, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Myrna Putziger serves The Fallon Company in a role that requires her expertise across all aspects of the firm. Ms. Putziger joined the firm in 2007 and is an expert in the full spectrum of real estate development, including zoning and permitting, land acquisition and ground leases, condominium formation, mixed-use development, tideland issues, and more.
Prior to joining The Fallon Company, she practiced commercial real estate law for over 30 years, with a particular focus on development within the City of Boston. Ms. Putziger was a practicing attorney with several acclaimed Boston-based firms, including Rubin and Rudman LLP, and provided counsel for an impressive roster of clients, including The Beacon Companies/Beacon Properties Corporation, Fidelity Properties, Inc, Simon Property Group, and the United State Postal Service amongst others.
Deeply committed to the community of Boston, Ms. Putziger serves as a member of the Board of Overseers of WGBH. She is also a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and the Boston Bar Association.
Samuel E. Butler
As Chief Financial Officer, Samuel (Sam) Butler is responsible for The Fallon Company’s financial operations, including finance, accounting, tax, budgeting, audit, and cash management. Mr. Butler joined the firm in 2004 and has been instrumental in the financial management of all assets and development projects.
Previous to his roles with The Fallon Company, Mr. Butler served as the Controller for Guild Drilling Company, Inc. from 1998 to 2004, as well as a Project Accountant for Perini/Kiewit/Cashman from 1995 to 1998.
James L. Heighton
As Senior Vice President for the The Fallon Company, James (Jim) Heighton oversees the development of the design, scheduling, permitting, and construction of the firm’s real estate development projects.
Prior to joining The Fallon Company, Mr. Heighton was Vice President/Operations Manager, New England Territory, for MorseDiesel/AMEC, one the largest construction management firms in the US.
Mr. Heighton is professionally affiliated with the National Fire Protection Association and the NFPA Building Fire Safety Systems Section. He has also received his OSHA 30-Hour Training Certification.
Michael Fallon, Chief Investment Officer of The Fallon Company, is responsible for new acquisitions of real estate development and investment. Mr. Fallon brings expertise in real estate development, permitting, acquisition, and financing, as well as experience with State and Federal regulatory agency real estate and marine permitting.
Previously, Mr. Fallon served as Materials Expediter and subsequently as an Engineer for Turner Construction of Boston, MA, involved in the scheduling, fabrication, and construction of all major structural components.
Mr. Fallon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and European Business and Economics from Boston University, as well as a Masters Degree in Finance from Bentley University.
As a Financial Analyst, Ben Farrer conducts financial research and analysis to support key decisions in the growth and management of The Fallon Company’s existing portfolio and future developments. He manages, creates and reviews due diligence and third party reports in connection with asset acquisitions and prepares valuations and information needed for strategic planning, fiscal planning, and risk management. Mr. Farrer is responsible for assessing benchmark economic activity, real estate transactions and operating fundamentals in major US markets to analyze the feasibility of proposed development projects. He is responsible for developing pro forma and discounted cash flow models for Commercial, Hospitality, and mixed-use assets in various stages of operation.
Mr. Farrer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Providence College, as well as a Master’s degree in Finance from Bentley University.
As a Market Analyst, Daniel Guadagnoli conducts strategic analysis and sources potential deals for The Fallon Company across a variety of U.S. markets. He works closely with local resources in new markets to identify potential development opportunities and build relationships with key market participants.
Prior to joining The Fallon Company, Mr. Guadagnoli served in the Management Consulting division of PwC with a focus on M&A strategy, supporting a variety of clients undergoing large-scale M&A activity. Mr. Guadagnoli holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics-Finance as well as a Master’s Degree in Finance from Bentley University.
Andrew M. To
Andrew To serves as Project Manager for The Fallon Company’s Fan Pier development, overseeing the design process for the project.
Mr. To has worked with several acclaimed architecture and design firms around the country, including Tsoi Kobus & Associates, Perkins and Will of Boston, MA and Rowe Design Group, Inc. of Arlington. Mr. To is a published author and has taught courses as a professor for the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and the Boston Architectural College.
Mr. To remains active in education and fundraising for scholarship funds for architectural students in need. He is a registered architect in Massachusetts and Illinois.
