1993-2005 – The Fallon Company is Founded and Establishes Reputation

  • 1980’s – Joe Fallon builds his reputation as a hardworking, resourceful and resilient developer learning Boston and its institutions working for a number of high profile and successful real estate companies
  • Early 1990’s – Joe Fallon discusses with former Mayor Kevin White the potential for developing the Boston waterfront
  • 1993 – Joe founds Fallon Company
  • 1993-2005 – Fallon Company develops a series of best-in-class pioneering waterfront projects like Park Lane, the Marriott Renaissance and the Westin Waterfront hotel


2005-2015 – The Fallon Company Develops Seaport District

  • 2005 –After three prior developers prove unsuccessful at developing a 21-acre parcel, Fallon begins construction of Fan Pier
  • 2008 – Fallon builds and delivers ONE Marina Park Drive on time and on budget in the midst of the financial crisis
  • 2011 – Fallon signs the largest office lease in Boston history with Vertex Pharmaceuticals
  • 2012 – Michael Fallon joins the company
  • 2015 – Spanning 9 city blocks, Fan Pier, a $4B transformative waterfront mixed-use development, is now home to celebrated companies, the city’s innovation district and numerous cultural landmarks


2015-Present – The Fallon Company Matures and Expands into New Markets

  • 2016 – Fallon establishes its Southeast headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina
  • 2019 – Fallon opens its second Southeast office in Raleigh, North Carolina
  • 2019 – Michael becomes President of the Fallon Company overseeing its investment strategy and national real estate portfolio
