During its fifth – and arguably most thrilling – season, the adrenaline-fueled
Extreme Sailing Series made an unprecedented stop in North America. The Fallon Company, which sponsored this five-day event, was thrilled that Fan Pier was chosen as the race’s Boston venue. Proximity to the city, plus a wealth of superb restaurants and hotels nearby, made this waterfront setting an ideal destination for the unrivaled global series. Tens of thousands of both avid sailing fans and newcomers drawn by the sport’s exciting nature enjoyed the racing at this free event as well as the fine amenities of Fan Pier.
