Fallon Signs Three Tenants at Vertex Complex

Starbucks, Bright Horizons and a new restaurant called Committee have leased space at the Fan Pier in Boston’s Seaport District. The tenants will occupy 21,450 square feet on the ground floor of 50 Northern Ave., one of two office towers that house the Vertex Pharmaceuticals headquarters, which opened in January. Committee is a restaurant owned by George Aboujaoude of Cafeteria Boston and Bijou Nightclub & Lounge. The Fan Pier restaurant, which will specialize in Mediterranean cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails, will open this fall. Starbucks will open in May, according to The Fallon Co. of Boston, developers of the complex.
