Awe joined Fallon Co. in 2022 as president after counseling the company as a lawyer for more than a decade. He’s one leg of the three-legged stool that is the company’s leadership. The firm’s chairman is Joe Fallon, whose Fan Pier project kicked off the Seaport District’s metamorphosis into a mecca of corporate offices and high-end shops. Fallon’s son, Michael, is CEO. He has helped oversee the company’s expansion into the Southeast.
Joe Fallon was one of Awe’s first clients at DLA Piper in 2010, just when Fan Pier was getting off the ground. Awe was there for almost every development: the Vertex Pharmaceuticals headquarters, the first luxury condos, Goodwin’s 17-story office tower. He and Michael grew up together professionally with the company.
When the Fallons wanted to bring on a third partner, they looked to Awe, someone with an outsider’s perspective who still knew intimately how they work.
“He’s extremely good at managing multiple different things, juggling different balls,” said Michael Fallon.
