At the Fallon Company, we have a proud history of transforming communities and creating vibrant new city environments.
Writing a Great City’s Next Chapter
It started three decades ago, when former Boston mayor Kevin White pointed to a map and told young developer Joe Fallon that he believed the city’s vacant waterfront was where Boston’s next chapter would be written. Over the next several years The Fallon Company helped prove it, becoming one of the driving forces behind developing the city’s Seaport district. The most successful new urban neighborhood in the United States, the Seaport has been central to Boston’s emergence as one of nation’s premier innovation centers.
Building Communities and a Business
In the more than quarter century since its founding in 1993, the Fallon Company has developed and owned more than $6 billion in real estate and 6 million square feet of property. While Boston will always be our home, our company has built a reputation for realizing the untapped potential of dozens of urban neighborhoods along the Eastern Seaboard – from New England to North Carolina.
Continuing a Family Tradition
Today, with Joe’s son, Michael, now company president, our privately-held, family-run business is growing faster than ever. But even as we expand into new markets, we still operate with the same core values that made the Fallon name synonymous with character, compassion, and community.
